1. About altSpace
altSpace is an online marketplace that connects individuals and teams looking for flexible workspace (“Renters”) with office operators who have spare desks, private offices, or meeting rooms (“Hosts”). altSpace facilitates the connection — it is not a party to any agreement between Renters and Hosts.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use altSpace. By creating an account you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@altSpace.pk if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Listings & Bookings
Hosts are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and availability of their listings. altSpace does not verify every listing detail unless explicitly marked “Verified by altSpace.” Booking requests are subject to Host confirmation. altSpace does not process payments in v1 — any financial arrangements are made directly between Renter and Host.
5. Prohibited Conduct
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
- Scraping or systematically harvesting data from the platform
- Using the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Circumventing the platform to avoid future use of altSpace
6. Intellectual Property
All platform content, branding, and software are owned by or licensed to altSpace. You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions) but grant altSpace a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.
7. Limitation of Liability
altSpace is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, altSpace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes between Renters and Hosts.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the platform or its users.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of altSpace after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
